Learn to plan, schedule and control a construction project in Primavera P6, using one building from site setup to handover. You build the whole program yourself, update it with a month of progress and prove your skills in a practical assessment.

  • Every exercise is a construction project, not a generic example
  • Take home your finished schedule, a WBS template and a schedule review checklist
  • Taught by practising planners, in classes of 12 or fewer
  • Counts toward PMI professional development hours

  3. Load resources and costs, set a baseline and update progress each month
  4. Produce look-ahead programs, progress against baseline, earned value and cash flow reports
  5. Check a schedule against the DCMA 14-point test and fix what fails
  6. Exchange schedules with clients and subcontractors using XER files

  • Challenging a contractor's schedule
  • Monthly progress reviews
  • Earned value for managers
  • Delay and extension of time requests
  • P6 on the web for leaders

Practical assessment and certificates

Prove you can do the work

In 3 hours you build, baseline, update and report on a new project, a 9-month health clinic, from a written brief. A score of 70 out of 100 earns the certificate of competence. One free resit within 60 days.

Two certificates

Completion for everyone who attends. Competence for those who pass the assessment. Both numbered so employers can verify them.
